Prayer for Our Truckers
Across America’s endless roads,
Where truckers bear their heavy loads,
We bow our heads & hearts to pray,
For those who drive both night & day.
Their wheels turn on in tireless
grind,
To keep the lifelines we all find.
From city lights to mountain crest,
Guide their paths & grant them rest
Protect their health thru every
mile,
Thru storms that rage & trials that rile
Bless their homes, their families dear,
Keep them in peace,
erase their fear
Prosper their work, their honest
toil,
Let justice bloom on this great soil.
Grant them courage, hearts of grace,
Integrity to lead their race
And most of all, may they receive
The greatest gift we can believe.
That Jesus Christ, in love & light,
Will guide them thru the darkest night
Oh Lord, we pray,
both day & night,
Bless their journeys
& their lives
Tho home is far
& months may flow,
Lead them safely
where they go
